Terms of Use

Fit Machines is made by Taphive GmbH, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA). The terms below add what's specific to Fit Machines.

The Gym Membership

• The Gym Membership is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks all extra machines and every new machine we add. Everything else in the app is free.
• It's available yearly or monthly. The price is shown in the app before you buy, and Apple charges it to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• The yearly plan includes a free trial for new subscribers; its length is shown before you start. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it turns into a paid subscription.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings > your name > Subscriptions). Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
• If your membership ends, extra machines you've already added stay with you; you just can't add new ones until you join again. Machines you earned through challenges stay unlocked.

Looking after real appliances

The routines, timings and tips in Fit Machines are general suggestions to help you remember. They don't replace your appliance's manual. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and safety warnings, and switch off and unplug an appliance before cleaning it. To the extent permitted by law, Taphive is not responsible for damage resulting from maintenance carried out on the basis of the app's suggestions.

Your content and shared households

You're responsible for what you enter. People you invite to a household can see and change everything in it, so only invite people you trust.

Liability

We work hard to keep Fit Machines reliable, but we provide it as it is. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or wherever the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. German law applies, without taking away the protection the law of your country of residence gives you as a consumer.
